Firm Personalisation of Notification Emails

We have added a new field for you to set your firm's replay address for all notifications that are sent from the Portal - this field is found in Settings > Notifications and is called "Set Notifications Reply Address".  This needs to be a valid email address such as: info@firmdomain.com.au


Once that field has been set, email notifications sent to your client will be in the format:

[Firm Name] via HowNow Portal - with an actual email address of portal@hownowhq.com, so the from address on notifications will look like this:

Replies to HowNow Portal Emails

When a client replies to an email sent from the Portal, it will go to Your Firm via HowNow Portal <the email address you set in the field above>.

Dashboard

  • The details of person in the events no show the person's name instead of the email address.
  • Help has been made more prominent and is now shown at the top right of the website.
  • Clients are now shown before Accounts on the left hand pane to be a more logical sequence.

Documents

  • A firm When you upload a document to the Portal and within 5 minutes of the upload the signing task is set, the client will only receive the signing notification with the PIN (not the upload notification).
  • Improvements were made to the links in the notifications to point more directly to the required area of the Portal after the client has logged in.  This also applied to notifications received by the firm.
  • Where applicable, emails may now be customised to contain the first name and surname of the recipient.
